The Chamber relies on the strength of its volunteers to continue its mission. Volunteering with the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber is the first step in taking full advantage of your membership in the organization. It gives you the opportunity to directly contribute to the economic prosperity of Tacoma-Pierce County with your time and talents, while simultaneously growing professionally and developing lasting relationships with other business leaders. There are several ways to get involved:

Special Interest Groups

International Trade Council
Develops trade policy and assists with international visitors

 

Port-Industrial Committee
Focuses on the needs of basic industry in the port-industrial geographical area

Tacoma Technology Consortium
Assists and encourages businesses in the development and use of technology

 

Utilities Special Interest Group
Advocates for and monitors local utility services: water, power, rail, solid waste, sanitary and storm water.

 

Environmental Special Interest Group
Advocating environmental rules and decisions effecting local businesses incorporating the real costs of providing desired benefits.
